Update

Juan continues to look for possible kidney donors. Unfortunately, previous potential donors were declined. He continues on the kidney transplant waiting list for a possible cadaveric donor. Please continue to pray for Juan--that he might find a suitable donor. Also, we continue to support Juan in anyway we can. He's doing well on dialysis and is adapting well to his treatments. Please help if you can by continuing to pray for him and contributing to his fund. We still have under $2000 in the fund, but any donation will help him when the day comes that he gets that long-awaited call to travel to San Antonio for a kidney transplant. Juan, keep your head up......your day will come!!!!

Juan, the Pillar

Thanks Juan, for staying strong and advocating for your own well-being. Your courage is an inspiration to all of us. Keep up the good work. One cannot even imagine what you go through on a daily basis.

Update on Juan

Juan just had his first eye surgery. They were able to remove 90% of the deposits in his left eye. He did very well and is recovering. He will have another surgery soon on the other eye. Please keep him in your prayers--pray for a speedy recovery and another successful surgery.

A Bump in the Road

Juan just got a little bad news. He has calcium deposits forming in his eyes and he will need to travel to Albuquerque to see a specialist so that his vision can be saved. He will require surgery to have the deposits removed. His transplant will have to be put on hold for a bit so that this procedure can take place. We really need to help him with anything possible as he will have to cover the expenses involved in traveling and lodging, etc.

Juan Needs Your Help

Currently, Juan is in desperate need of a kidney transplant. He is currently listed at the University Transplant Center in San Antonio. A few people have come forward to be possible kidney donors, however this is very costly and he has to come up with the funds so that he can travel to San Antonio should these donors be suitable to donate to him. Juan has sold most of his personal items, including his truck to come up with the money. Also, he will need to pay a large portion of the medical expenses, medications, boarding for himself, the donor and a caretaker while in San Antonio. He will not be able to work during his recovery.

Sarah needs her daddy home and in good health. PLEASE help us help Juan.
